The concierges and founders of Casa Lela. We traded our life in the Netherlands for sunshine, sherry, and chaos in Andalusia. What started as a dream of owning a finca in the mountains ended up becoming a centuries-old family home in the heart of Jerez de la Frontera, in the very neighborhood where flamenco was born. In October 2025, we bought this house and transformed it into a boutique hotel.
Our story was followed by a well-known Dutch emigration TV program, which perfectly captured what renovating in southern Spain is really like. Casa Lela has now officially opened its doors. We also live in the house ourselves, and around us we created four luxury rooms surrounding the original patio.
At the moment, we are putting the finishing touches on the bodega and a shared space for workshops and retreats. After that, we will begin the development of the suites, each with its own private garden or rooftop terrace.
